Fishing in Pacific Northwest Part II

After spending a day at Puyallup state fair, I convinced Chris Kwun to go fishing next day. We got up early in the morning, went to the Puyallup River, and I caught my first Salmon. With my rapid reel in technique, I caught my Salmon by the tail...and had fish for lunch with Chris, Christie, and Sarah. Good times!

Snoqualmie Falls

Nice afternoon hike to Snoqualmie Falls where I pulled left my pectoralis muscle, going down hill. I learned I am not as Spidy as James.

Seattle's Farmer's Market

With David, Michelle, and Sonya, we made a stop at the famous Seattle Fish/Farmer's market. We also made it to the First Starbucks coffee store. Good times!

Mount Rainier

Number of us took a hike to Mount Rainier. It was spectacular as we negotiated our way through the trails. . We were surprised to be greeted by Christie and Grace at Mount Rainier! We saw deer, mirmit, and fox. This was probably my second best hike ever! At the top of the trail, the temperature dropped to the 40s with the wind chill factor..but we made it down before sundown. Praise God!

Victoria

After a long hike day at Mount Rainier, it was time to visit Victoria, British Columbia. Three of my friends from Loma Linda, David, Michelle, and Sonya continued our journey via ferry to the Victoria Island, where we went to see the Buchart Garden..got a taste of what the heaven would be like. Beautiful Times!

San Juan Island

After hiking up for approximately 1 mile, we made it to the summit of the San Juan Island, which overlooked many other islands in the Puget Sound. We made it! Spectabular Times! We also took a little detour and made it to the British Campground, where we were taken back hundred years ago. I got little carried away with James and Andy. Fun times! Don't forget how to play the Cricket game. Camping overnight in the outdoor was spectacular. We had little bit of everything including rain. No one can cook hot dogs like Andy! While raining, we ventured out to see the Orcas and it was quite spiritual. They came so close to the shore! It was an unforgettable weekend.

River fishing in the Pacific Northwest.

Salmon fishng in the Pacific Northwest. Salmons were jumping. Got up early in the morning and fished till noon. I caught two tiny fish, dogfish and salmon, which I let go. Doug, other neuroradiology fellow, on the other hand, caught three salmons. Good times!
